In 2017, two Thai teams compete in the F1 in Schools STEM Challenge World Finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the first time. A total of 12 students from Amnuay Silpa School competed, and three main awards were won in this prestigious competitions.

Thailand is represented at the 2018 World Finals F1 in Schools STEM Challenge in Sentosa, Singapore, with three teams from three different schools. Pursuit Team finished 6th overall among 50 teams considered the best from Asia, ranked 2nd overall in terms of total race time, and had the 4th quickest car.

The Nakara Team from Amnuay Silpa School was the youngest team to compete in the World Finals in Abu Dhabi, and the Legacy Team from Singapore International School of Bangkok received a special award for Best Paper Car Design, while Matrix Racing from Harrow International School Bangkok received the Sustainability Award.

F1 in Schools World Finals 2022
F1 in schools is delighted to announce that the ARAMCO F1 IN SCHOOLS World Finals 2022 will be held at Silverstone, UK from 9-15 July, with the world famous circuit hosting this prestigious event for the first time.
Expected 60 Teams will participate from across the world including two team from Thailand, competing for the World Champions title.

The team, Kinnaree Racing, with team members Jerald Pourpongpan, 15, Patamenee Jinadit, 15, Ravipat Rodphothong, 14, Toni Saengsuphan, 15 and Warintorn Petchamli, were thrilled to win the Sustainability Award supported by Formula 1 with the judges praising them for their sustainability strategy and its integration into their car. The team developed unique and sustainable materials for their cars, using a combination of resin and soot from a car exhaust to create the front wing and wheels, and recycled bottles to make the rear wing.

24 countries across the world for a chance to become the first Thai team to win the World Champions Trophy.

The first F1 in Schools National STEM Challenge in Thailand will be accessible to students aged 5 to 18, with finalists earning a spot in the World Finals in 2025. This spectacular competition will take place at the Grand Hall of True Digital Park in the center of Bangkok, Thailand and will feature a number of interesting activities
that you will not want to miss.
The winning teams will compete in the F1 in Schools STEM Challenge World Finals in 2025, representing Thailand. The location will be one of the 22 countries that host Formula One races.
